Where did Ash (Bruce Campbell), a simple department store clerk in his own time, get the know-how to build the weaponry that was used to vanquish an Army of Darkness in the film of the same name?

What if Felicity (Elizabeth Hurley) wanted to thank Austin (Mike Myers) with a small gift for saving her life in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, but could only choose from the following list of items? Which one would she pick? Tell us why.
  A. An autographed copy of Burt
  Bacharach's Greatest Hits
  B. A copy of In Like Flint
  C. A Swedish-made enlarger pump
  D. A T-shirt that read, "I saved the world
(again) and all I got was this lousy T-shirt."

Helping to eradicate war and poverty wasn't at the top of Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted's (Keanu Reeves) wish list in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure - playing in a "super-band" with Eddie Van Halen was. But it was something they could help to bring about if they aced their history exam. What else did their music supposedly have the power to do and what did the test involve?

How did Dr. Zaius (Maurice Evans) try to disprove the paradox of bones that were found in the cave that was excavated in Planet of the Apes?

Time Safari Inc. offered the ultimate thrill in    A Sound of Thunder - the chance to hunt a living T-rex in it's own habitat - the Cretaceous period. Who wouldn't pay a king's ransom for something like that? Very few judging by the six-year waiting list. When Mr. Wallenbeck's (Armin Rhode) group returned from one of those adventures, Charles Hatton (Ben Kingsley), the company's owner, remarked, "of all the jumps I've seen, yours' was, by far, the most courageous and skillful." Did he say that to every group that went through the time portal?

Army of Darkness
He turned to the pages of the college chemistry textbook that was in the trunk of his car. Call it "dumb luck."

Austin Powers:
The Spy Who Shagged Me

D, why? Well, he already owned an enlarger pump and a copy of Burt Bacarach's Greatest Hits. The copy that was stored with his personal belongings wasn't autographed, but for argument's sake, let's assume that it was since he knew Burt personally. That leaves two options - a copy of Austin's favorite movie or the T-shirt. The movie would have made a great gift if he owned a VCR or DVD player, but we didn't see one, and even if we had, the best choice still would have been D because it would have fit Austin's personality to a T -  pun intended!

Back to the Future
Doc Brown came up with the idea for the Flux Capacitor after he hit his head.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
It could also align the planets and enable the human race to make meaningful contact with all forms of life, from extraterrestrial beings to common household pets. They had to explain how an important historical figure would view the world of San Dimas in 1988.

Planet of the Apes
He thought the method of dating that Cornelius used was crude, "to say the least," and there were other geologists who doubted his speculations.

A Sound of Thunder
No

Star Trek: First Contact
Admiral Hayes wanted the Enterprise to remain in the Neutral Zone in case the Romulans decided to take advantage of the situation.

Time After Time
A, "free love" paid for most of it. Wells became known as the "Fleet Street Casanova" during his stint as a columnist for the Gazette. It wasn't his favorite subject to write about, but the articles helped sell more newspapers.

Time Bandits
They thought the Evil Genius was trying to lull the Supreme Being (Ralph Richardson) into a false sense of security by not trying to escape from the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness.

The Time Machine
Isaac Asimov, Harlan Ellison and Alexander Hartdegen
Admiral Hayes (Jack Shearer) believed that a man who was once captured and assimilated by the Borg shouldn't be put in a situation where he'd have to face them again. That was why Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) was given direct orders not to engage them in Star Trek: First Contact. When he disobeyed that order, he risked the possibility something else happening. If you need a hint on this one, try unscrambling the following word - ALMNORSU.

Which (if any) of the following statements are incorrect in regard to the time machine that H.G. Wells (Malcolm McDowell) built in Time After Time?
  A. The money that Wells used to build the
machine mostly came from the royalties he
earned from the books he wrote.
  B. The machine converted the rays of the
  sun into electricity.
  C. The Reversal Rotation lock was a safety
feature that was designed to automatically
return the machine to its starting date after
  the completion of a voyage.
  D. The machine's cruising speed was two
  years per minute.
  E. A passenger could journey through time
without the machine if the Vaporizing
Equalizer key was removed, but there
would be no way of getting back.

How does one trick a Supreme Being? The Evil Genius (David Warner) in Time Bandits knew it couldn't be done, but his minions thought otherwise. Do you remember why?

Vox (Orlando Jones) recommended the work of four different authors when Dr. Richard Hartdegen (Guy Pearce) inquired about time travel in Simon Wells' remake of The Time Machine - one obviously being H.G. Wells. Who were the other three?

Back to the Future: Here's a scenario we'll call Back to the Drawing Board. The year is 1989. A crowd that numbers in the hundreds has gathered in the parking lot of the Hill Valley High School to welcome home its favorite alum - Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox). His band, The Pinheads, have returned to their old stomping grounds for the last gig on their hugely successful Rock till you Drop tour. Among the familiar faces is Marty's old friend, Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), who has come bearing gifts - eight amplifiers that dwarf his prototype. Anxious to see how loud they can get, the band plugs in for an impromptu jam that literally blows away the crowd. Fortunately, no one is seriously injured. But there's more than a few shattered eardrums. What would Marty have been referring to if he sarcastically remarked, "How many years is it going to take you to figure out this 'overload' problem, Doc? If you need another hit on the head I'll be more than happy to oblige."
